Connecting Time

This body of work was made while on residency at Guldagergaard Ceramic Research Centre in Denmark in the Autumn of 2020.

During this residency, I discovered wood and soda firing, which is a natural continuation of my creative process. I responded to the transformative and unpredictable nature of the firing.

This series celebrates imperfection and impermanence and is immediate, performative, and meditative. Reflecting on the Anthropocene with a consciousness of deep time which is embedded in my making, both physically and emotionally.
